Square Enix - Latin America

My entry for the SE Latam contest that everyone and their mothers joined The challenge was to make a tabloid wallpaper that depicted "Square Enix and Latin America" ... all within a very short deadline (2 or 3 days iirc).

I'm dying to give a very very VERY long winded description about all the thoughts that went into this picture, but I'll try to refrain myself, haha. I seriously split my head trying to connect every graphic element in the picture to Latin America, from the glaring obvious Quetzal bird, to the warm turquoise that characterizes most of Latin America's beautiful beaches or the vivid and beautiful colors and monuments of our different yet similar cultures. My goal here was to keep the Latin American references subtle in order to have visual cohesion. Also, Sora is a "world hopper", hence why I chose him as a connection.

Well, let's see what happens! I definitely had a blast with this picture and I hope it shows ^_^9
