Artist's Comments
This is the Cosplay Prop I did for my Riku Cosplay.
Due to the terribly limited time I had to do this (Over 3 days) plus my injured right arm while sanding it, this came out very shapeless and flat, so I had to resort to painting effects to give it some dimensionality. Also I ran out of money and I had to paint it using a friggin' paintbrush instead of a bolder brush. The overall height is 1.20 mts (3.93 feet) and is heavy if you weild it single handed, but quite light if you use both hands. Even if that damn sword did ate my soul, I'm really proud of it, and all the cosplayers I met totally loved my Keyblade <3. Materials: Wood (Dunno which kind), Acrylics, Mate Spray Gloss, Craploads of Advil+Coke, heavy doses of hysteria.
